Lounge Catamaran SODADE Half-Day
Our catamaran has a capacity of 90 people, but for the comfort of all guests on baord a maximum of 75 people is allowed per tour. It is very spacious and comfortable with open sitting areas with sofas, some lounge beds on the deck, nets with bean bags and private inflatable pool that can be set up when the boat is stopped halfway through the trip. USB dockets available on board to charge your small devices. Unlimited drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic are included as well as a freshly prepared snack. From June to October you have the possibility to see turtles as the Murdeira bay is their mating place. From February to March you have the possibility to see whales. Please note that there is no guarantee to see turtles or whales.

Summary:
Superb crew and very well organised.
Probably only 2 hours on the boat. 1 hour there & back and short boat trip from the harbour to the boat in a 'tender'.
A few cheaper shops on the harbour worth a visit.
Despite being a windy island, swimming & snorkeling was easy.
Food & drinks provided.
A great afternoon out.
Totally recommend, enjoyed it.
( my wife, in hindsight, would recommend doing the adults only option - we went Sunday so adults only wasn't an option )

Summary:
We went on a half day catamaran tour today as a large party of 10. This included a teenager and 71 yr old. We were picked up from the hotel and was around half he drive to the port where we needed to be. Upon arrival we were given life jackets as we had to take a small speed boat to the catamaran which we thoroughly joined the experience ( never been in a speed boat) my mother was helped every step of the way as was the teenager. Once docked we were told the itnary and what to expect, we were quite surprised that we were allowed to uae the snorkel equipment without any extra charge, this was a bonus for us. Drink were available throughtout the trip and loads to choose from, they also put on snacks which was buffet style which was really lovely and seemed more like a light lunch. We stopped off for an he or so to do some snorkelling, this went very quick. Maybe stay for a longer period of time?
On the way back we had a mini party where we all danced drank an was happy. The crew are absolutely amazing make u feel so comfortable, relaxed and they are very hospitable and friendly from start to finish. Would highly recommend this trip 👍
